#1 – Buy The Right Maternity Clothes

The problem is, many moms-to-be postpone the transition as long as they can. They end up squeezing their frame into tops and bottoms that are far too restrictive and hence, uncomfortable.
Buy maternity clothes as soon as your regular outfits begin to restrain your movement. Moreover, purchase items that are one size larger than you need. That will allow you the freedom to grow into your clothes while enjoying uninhibited movement.
#2 – Go Easy On Your Feet
Your feet control how comfortable you are in any given situation. If your feet ache, it won’t matter that the rest of your body feels fine. With that in mind, buy shoes that will take the pressure off your feet during your pregnancy.
Store your 3-inch heels in your closet and buy a few flats. Not only will they make your feet more comfortable, but they’ll also ease the strain on your back. Plus, flats are safer than heels. Because it’s not uncommon for mothers-to-be to experience shifts in their balance, heels can make you stumble or trip.
#3 – Moisturize And Protect Your Skin
When your body expands, your skin can become dry and itchy. Buy high-quality lotion and apply it generously throughout the day. It will help eliminate the itching and even make stretch marks less noticeable. There are a lot of different lotions from which to choose, so you won’t lack options.
Also, keep in mind that your skin will be more susceptible to the sun’s UV rays while you’re pregnant. Invest in a good sunscreen and apply it whenever you intend to spend time in the sun.
Buying comfortable maternity clothes, flat shoes, and taking care of your skin can have a dramatic influence on your comfort level during your pregnancy. If you’d like to pamper yourself, consider taking occasional trips to the salon for a pedicure. Or, visit the spa once every few weeks for a luxurious massage. You’ll find that being physically comfortable can do wonders for your emotions.
