A little exercise each day is a very powerful aid for people looking for lower back pain treatment, that will have a much bigger benefit than anything else – and in that I include the gourmet food and wine, the hottest sex, and even the most exhilarating fun. The biggest holdup for most people is that you have to actually do it to enjoy the health giving benefits.
If you’re like me, you already have too much to do. You have no opportunity for less than half an hour of easy-to-do stretching exercises, never mind the three quarters of an hour to an hour, 3 to 4 times a week that are needed for the aerobic exercise requisite of a normal exercise program.
Well, the good news is I’m going to give you some very powerful reasons to make the opportunity in your busy day – one way or another – because, again, individuals who have known back pain relief everywhere acknowledge that regular exercise will prove to be more helpful and pain relieving to you in the end, for help in healing your back pain, than any other method you can try.
Let’s begin with the problem that you simply don’t have enough time. What if I told you that allocating 10 or 15 minutes before you take a shower to perform a few simple stretching exercises is the same as buying an insurance policy that’s better than protecting you against the next time you’ll have to take a few days sick leave because of your lower back and hip pain?
If time is money for you, then the time you invest in exercise, which is free as far as monetary investment goes, it will save you the future expense (and lost time) that you could easily need to pay for chiropractic, reflexology, massage therapy, and so on – the next time your back muscles seize up and put you out of action.
You can still see holes in the plan? You say you’re already running so flat out that there’s barely enough time left to get some sleep each night, and you can’t remember the last time you didn’t feel tired all day? That’s another great reason to find some time for exercising. Rest assured, if you make the time, you’ll see that, this type of exercise, especially regular aerobic exercise, can and will help you feel a lot better and make a big difference in easing your back pain. Instead of depleting your energy, as you might suppose, exercise actually makes you feel invigorated and empowered. As exercising helps burn off excess calories and helps your body burn off fat, it won’t make you lethargic. It’s not like that at all, following a regular stretching and strengthening exercise program really does boost your mood and invigorate you – and because you tend to sleep better when you exercise, you’ll get a much deeper sleep from fewer sleeping hours.
